- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪Dr. Barone has been the only physician to discover that the reason I suffered from repeated sinus and upper respiratory infections was due to a major deficiency in vitamin D. All the other doctors I had seen shrugged and said they had no idea why I was getting sick so often. He is the only one who tested me for a Vitamin D deficiency. He also sent me to a gastroenterologist when I was suffering from what other doctors diagnosed as IBS. If it hadn't been for him, I would not have known I had a pre-cancerous polyp.
